Showcase Your Public Health Work at APA 2026
Community psychology and public health share a deep commitment to equity, systems change, and improving community well-being. That’s why we want to highlight an opportunity for TWIPH readers who bridge these fields.
The American Psychological Association’s 2026 Convention (Aug 6–8, Washington, DC) is now accepting proposals, and APA Division 27 (SCRA) is especially interested in work that advances this year’s theme: “Working Better Together.”
The theme speaks directly to public health challenges like climate change, infectious disease, polarization, and inequality, and calls for community-engaged, cross-sector solutions rooted in justice, collaboration, and evidence.
If you work in implementation, health equity, community partnerships, prevention, evaluation, or any public-health–aligned area, SCRA welcomes your proposals. Sessions offering CE credit are encouraged, as they reach broader audiences.
Submission deadline: January 14, 2026
