
Reflections on the Next Week in Public Health
by Jon Scaccia March 7, 2025Every day is like some horrible day of roulette. Some outcomes are a loss. Some are neutral. Some seems okay, until you realized that you’re already in the hole and are just trying to get back to neutral.
It gets fatiguing.
We want to plug the data rescue project, who are doing yeoman’s work trying to make sure the records of work that support our underlying models (e.g., health disparities actually exist).
We had not previously seen a lot of chatter about the esteemed, brave, and non-craven Senator Cruz’s effort to identify DEI-informed science. We did an introduction blog below, and will be digging more into his actual database in the coming days.
