FindGrant.ai is Looking for Beta Testers

For many nonprofits, securing reliable funding is one of the most challenging aspects of their work; this is even more pronounced in the current US sociopolitical climate.

Grants are available, but the process of identifying the right funders can feel like searching for a needle in a haystack. Databases are often clunky or outdated, funding information isn’t transparent, and application requirements can be overwhelming—especially for smaller organizations working with limited staff and budgets.

That’s why we built FindGrant.ai: a new tool designed to make grant discovery easier, smarter, and fairer. And now, we’re inviting beta testers to help shape its future.

What Makes FindGrant.ai Different?

We designed FindGrant.ai around the pain points nonprofits told us about—and that we’ve experienced ourselves. At this stage, the platform offers two key features:

🔎 Search for Funders and Organizations
Quickly explore foundations and nonprofits. See who they fund, how much they typically give, and whether they’re a good fit for your work.

💬 AI-Powered Chat
Skip the manual digging. Ask your questions in plain English—like “Who funds youth mental health in Ohio under $50k?”—and get answers drawn directly from funder data. It’s like having a grant research assistant by your side

Why We Built It

Nonprofits, especially those with budgets under $1 million, face real socioeconomic pressures. Many live “hand-to-mouth” with slim reserves, while donor fatigue and rising costs make financial sustainability even harder. In our own research (with Victoria Scott and others), we’ve seen how grant awards can be inconsistent—even arbitrary—leaving capable organizations without the support they need.

FindGrant.ai is our response: a tool that leverages data and AI to reduce wasted effort, highlight funders who are a true fit, and enable small teams to focus on what truly matters—their mission.

Be Part of What’s Next

Your feedback will help us refine the platform and ensure it truly addresses the challenges nonprofits face in grant seeking. Together, we can make grant discovery faster, fairer, and more accessible.
