Community Health Workers (CHWs) are the heart of community-based care. They build trust, bridge health gaps, and deliver critical services—especially in communities that need it most. But to fully support CHWs, we need to understand what matters most to those working with and alongside them.

We’re reviewing tools that help employers, policymakers, and partners assess and strengthen CHW programs. With your input, we can ensure that the matrix reflects real needs on the ground: better training, meaningful community involvement, stronger supervision, clear career paths, and integration with broader health systems.

We’ve also looked past frameworks and found important gaps we’re ready to fix—things like state-level support, better recruitment strategies, and tools for ongoing performance improvement. But we need your voice to prioritize the changes that will make the biggest difference.
