Many people around the world have a disease called hepatitis B, but some babies born to mothers with this disease do not get sick. Scientists are trying to find out if these babies, who are exposed to the disease but not infected, might have health problems later on. They think these babies could be at risk for problems like being born too early or having trouble growing and learning.
